Begin with the right first step.
DH Medical has been designed to make professional skin care feel clear from the beginning.
You may already know the treatment you are interested in.
You may know only the concern you want to improve.
Or you may simply feel that your skin needs professional guidance.
Whichever point you are starting from, the booking process should help move you towards the most appropriate next step.
BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Simple, professional and easy to access.
Appointments with DH Medical can be booked through our online booking system.
The booking link will be available prominently throughout the website, including from the main navigation and homepage, allowing you to view current appointment availability and select a suitable time.
Our aim is to make booking straightforward while still keeping professional assessment at the centre of the process.
You do not need to understand the entire treatment menu before making contact.
NEW TO DH MEDICAL?
Start with consultation.
For many new clients, the most appropriate first appointment is a professional skin consultation.
This gives your practitioner the opportunity to understand:
- Your main skin concerns
- How long those concerns have been present
- Your current skincare routine
- Previous professional treatment
- Sensitivity or previous reactions
- Your goals
- Relevant medical or medication considerations
- The amount of downtime you are comfortable with
From there, the next stage can be recommended properly.
This consultation-led structure forms an important part of The DH Standard.
I KNOW WHICH TREATMENT I WANT
You can still begin there.
If you already know that you are interested in a particular treatment, you can select the relevant option when booking where available.
Your practitioner will still confirm suitability before treatment proceeds.
Professional skin treatment should never be carried out simply because an appointment has been booked.
The skin, the concern and the individual circumstances still come first.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO BOOK
That is completely normal.
Most clients are more familiar with the concern than the treatment.
You may know that you want to improve pigmentation, breakouts, texture, scarring, dullness or fine lines without knowing whether that means a peel, microneedling, LED or an advanced facial.
You do not need to make that decision alone.
Choose a consultation and allow your practitioner to guide the next stage.

YOUR LIVERPOOL APPOINTMENT
Professional skin care on Rodney Street.
DH Medical is based at:
40 Rodney Street
Liverpool
L1 9AA
Rodney Street sits within one of Liverpool’s most established medical and professional districts and provides a fitting setting for the consultation-led experience at the heart of DH Medical.
From the moment you arrive, the aim is for your appointment to feel professional, considered and unhurried.
ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please arrive in good time for your booking.
If you are attending for a consultation, it can be helpful to have details of the skincare products you currently use.
You may also wish to make a note of:
- Current medication
- Allergies
- Recent skin treatments
- Recent aesthetic procedures
- Previous reactions
- Current concerns
- Any products that have recently changed
Photographs of your current skincare routine on your phone can also be useful.
BEFORE ADVANCED TREATMENT
Preparation may be required.
Certain professional treatments may require specific preparation beforehand.
This can include:
- Temporarily stopping active skincare
- Avoiding exfoliation
- Improving skin hydration
- Allowing time after another procedure
- Skin preparation with recommended homecare
- Patch testing where appropriate
If preparation is required, your practitioner will explain this before treatment takes place.
YOUR APPOINTMENT
Time dedicated to your skin.
Appointments are structured according to the treatment being performed.
Your practitioner will confirm what is planned, review any relevant changes since your previous visit and make sure treatment remains appropriate.
If your skin has changed, the treatment may change too.
That flexibility is intentional.
Following a protocol should never become more important than responding to the skin in front of us.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Your practitioner will provide appropriate aftercare advice where required.
Depending on treatment, this may include guidance around:
- Cleansing
- Hydration
- Active skincare
- Exercise
- Heat exposure
- Makeup
- Sun exposure
- SPF
- Timing of your next treatment
Some treatments require very little aftercare.
Others require the skin to be treated more cautiously for several days.
Clear guidance will be provided.
FOLLOW-UP & REVIEW
The journey does not end when the appointment does.
Where you are undergoing a structured treatment programme, your skin can be reviewed as treatment progresses.
This allows us to assess:
- How the skin has responded
- Whether the original concern is improving
- Whether treatment intensity remains appropriate
- Whether the treatment plan should change
- Whether homecare needs adjusting
- What should happen next
Review is a subtle but important part of The DH Standard.
Treatment should remain responsive rather than automatic.
RESCHEDULING OR CHANGING AN APPOINTMENT
We understand that plans can change.
Once the booking system is live, clients will be able to manage appointments in line with the booking terms displayed at the time of reservation.
Any cancellation or rescheduling requirements will be clearly communicated during the booking process.
We recommend making any required changes as early as possible so appointment time can be made available to another client.
RUNNING LATE
If you expect to arrive late, please contact the practice using the telephone or email details shown in the website footer.
Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate you.
However, appointments may need to remain within their original finishing time to avoid affecting the next client.
QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING?
You can speak to us before deciding.
Once our contact details are live, our telephone number and email address will be available in the footer throughout the DH Medical website.
These contact points can be used for general questions relating to:

YOUR FIRST VISIT TO DH MEDICAL
You do not need to prepare the perfect list of treatments.
You do not need to understand professional skincare terminology.
And you do not need to know exactly what your skin needs.
That is what the consultation process is there to establish.
Arrive with the concern.
We will help determine the next step.
